Currently chilling/slacking/procrastinating about doing decent work with Mad at TGIF.

Midst of talking to mad.

Had a hard time looking for powerplug with comfy seats at orchard area on a sunday just now.

BK was crowded, spinelli had powerplug but uncomfortable high chairs. Sorry i very high maintainence one GIMME COMFY SEATS OR I WONT DO WORK.

Settled at TGIF, yes expensive but the waitress is so darn good! Offered to help me plug in my mac charger somemore! Where got such good service one?!

Ordered pineapple juice, having a pineapple juice craze nowadays with michelle. Love it.

Just ordered pasta, i know TGIF's food is really average (and overpriced), but i am a lil hungry plus the waitress so nice so i decided to be generous. Heheh.

Mad ordered a very Hawaiian fweel drink.

This is quite nice, but i encourage you to share it, because it's way too creamy.

Well hello. Hmm. Life has been. Okay. Work. Work. Work. Meet friends to have supper, go supper (HAHA).

I really cannot explain my love for supper. I have no idea why, my friends all once had that spell on them. And i believe it's just a phase for me that i like it so much now as well.

Oh my birthday's tomorrow. Colleagues has been asking me what i want, and then it occurred to me that I DONT HAVE ANYTHING THAT I WANT! Materialistic wise.

Branded things, they hardly have that allure to me anymore.

Partly cuz everytime i turn high i am prepared i will lose my phone/money/keys, so you know, if i get something branded and i lose it, I will be so sad.

And previously i lost a FUCKING BRAND NEW POLAROID. oh. Which reminds me. I dont mind a polaroid for my birthday, but if it's not meant to be it's not meant to me.

I'm not meant to be a camera person.

The only other thing i want is a wallet, but this time round nothing branded too! I want a nice, artsy, leather (maybe) and it just has to look nice and preferably not expensive.

Okay let's try to come up with a birthday wishlist.

Anyway, FinalYearProject is coming up. Stress time. Though i dont really like working retail for SIP now, but i know i will miss it, even if it is just a little. People there are nice, quite fun, because now we are all more familiar with each other.

My female boss is uber nice. Like UBER. She is pretty too hahahaha.

FYP. We are all doing themes close to our hearts, and very us hahaha. Guess what i'm doing. If my idea is accepted, I'm REALLY GONNA LOVE this collection. I hope.

I dont want pretty clothes, honestly, i dont know what is my style now. I am sick of dressing up nowadays because i go to work, change to work clothes, change back to my clothes, head home.

What i wear now is a little rocker, at times I WEAR DRESSES homg. Because i delusionally allowed myself to think that my arm got skinner, i started wearing sleeveless things. But anyhoo.

I think what I want is just money HAHA. I wanna perm/cut hair.

I wanna take cab everywhere, actually no, I enjoy mrt and bus rides now, for some weird reason they give me tranquility as long as my earphones are plugged.

I wanna eat? Not really also. Restaurants hardly have any attraction to me now. WEIRD MUCH. I now <3 street food. Like BBQ chicken wing, stingray and those kind of SG food.

I wanna do nails, but i cant do anything now to them besides french manicure (a lil boring) because i'm working at the store. And anyway my nails are ruined la.

I think i just want money to spend on my friends. Am i pervertic? I am destined to spend money on others!

I hope tonight will be fun. Sorry this post is sucha mess, i have jumbling thoughts now. It's 10.30. I'm gonna go do something less important now.

I believe that you deserve to be happy and enjoy your life and to get what you want.

Happiness is like a butterfly, we have to stop chasing after it with a net because we will never get it. Just stand still and the butterfly will come towards you. Being happy is every single human being's dream.
However, you shouldn't wait too long to be happy because the longer you wait, the lesser time you have to be happy.

You just have to look around you and appreciate what is already yours, and for what isn't yours, it is not yours for a good reason. So try not to think so much and go along with the flow, the first intuation is often right, go with that.

Well hello i know i havent been here for a while now and i'm seeing alot of weird people at my tagboard but i'm just gonna fuckcare them.

Does anyone even come here anymore? Just those weird people.

I'm at OC, outside my shop waiting for it to open, manager is late.

When i'm inside, i start my day with changing into the rigid and boring 'uniform', then i clean the countless mirrors and glass, then i procastinate, then i look at some tailoring shit and check if there is anything i need to do, cut fabric, record things etc. Usually there is nothing, and so i have nothing to do but stand around and get mock by colleagues.

Glamorous life i lead.

Everyday, i look forward to knocking off. But then again, I dont have a timing where i knock off, shop closes at 10, but often i have to stay till 10.30/11pm to clean glass and shit. On rare days i get to leave at 10.

Every week, I look forward to weekends, because that is when i have MY OWN TIME, with friends. But then again, I only have alternate saturdays off, and so sometimes weekends means only SUNDAY. Which is depressing.

This week, Honeypancake is dating me on wednesday, which instantly makes the week easier, because i have something happening after 3 days of shit, and then after that another 3 days, to some Mermaid time, which is saturday.

I just hope i can withstand those 3 days.

Btw, I'm trying to come up with a homemade notebook, it's kinda hard, emotionally and brain-wise, but i will do it. Sick of giving up halfway EVERYTIME.

Everytime i try to make a piece of clothing, i give up because

-I dont have time.

-It's too hard.

-Expensive.

Yes the notebook is gonna be expensive but fuckcare money i am going to have lots of those soon.

It's the emotional part that is really hard. Especially when i only have time to do it at night, and nights are the hardest for me right now.

But you know what, after i'm done with the notebook, my sadness will be gone, right? At least some please.

Shop is still not open. I hope they decide to close it for one day. Which is not really possible but nevermind IWANTTODREAM.

But mostly of my MC days is because i started wondering how nice it would be if i dont have to work/go school. Okay stop, shop, you better open soon before i run back to commonwealth.

MY WEEKEND ROCKED.

Even though i had to work on saturday until 9pm, but the night is still young. Even though i was sick too.

Went to supper with mich, mad, judith and her bf! Miss those 3 girls lotsss. Had my first real fun night clubbing. I dont know why previously it wasnt that fun. I think partly cuz i missed my girls too much! HAHAHA

The night ended with drama though. But it's okay, my friend. That's what friends are for! Just wanna punch you for not telling me earlier. For your info, I wont judge you.

Went home and then dad and mum was up waiting for me. Well apparently they didnt like the reason i gave to go out to play lah. So we had a talk but it was all good (;

Went to bed at 5, rolled around for 45 mins and then slept. I thought i was supposed to be dead beat.

Sunday! Sunday was funny.

Supposedly a church day, but because dad stayed up to wait for me and talked, he woke up at 11.05. (church service starts at 11.30)

I woke up around that time also, and then i went to the living room and said,

' Daddy 11 already leh. Are we going church uh?

Then he laughed and grinned and said yeah we are, then laughed somemore.

So we went to prepare and left at 11.35, so while on the car, i asked if did he set alarm.

"No. HAHAHAHHA"

My dad so funny. If it was my mum she would be damn serious and solemn about missing church service.

Anyway, by the time we reached chinatown, it was 12. I told him usually at 12.30 i will get out of service to get food before the queue starts forming. So what's the point of going for half an hour? By the time we reach it would be 12.15 and sermon would most probably be over.

So he agreed and we went to eat breakfast!!! hahahaha. What kind of dad will pon sunday church service???

We ate at central and since jia was nearby, after eating i went to find her, while my dad brought food back to church.

She was dying her hair for a salon's hair seminar. Chilled at the salon till dinner time, the salon was nice.

Met up with lenne, lenne's bf, christian, marc, jia for midnight karaoke! It was mega fun again. A partay version of karaoke.

Stayed overnight at jia's and rushed back home in the morning to get ready for work today. Jia came along and I EFFING MADE BREAKFAST!

Maid disappeared to dont know where. Breakfast wasnt bad.

A here i am slacking my ass off at work.

I bought a coach pouch recently, and i havent used it yet because normally i bring bags because a girl needs her 101 things.

Anyway, the exhilaration i got from spending so much on a pretty worthless thing is..well..it feels good. For some reason spending tons on luxury goods which boosts your image feels awesome.

Now i understand why the luxury market is doing well despite the economy crisis shit.

I hate it when i type now as noe, i always do that on iphone and i just did it again, because e and w are side by side. Grrrr.

Back to topic, in short, i'm becoming one of those splurging women. I almost ordered a marc jacobs tote just now on Reebonz(major reason. They make branded stuff seem easy to buy, almost wished they only allowed credit cards, only almost) but it was sold out. Probably because it was cheap.

Budden while i was browsing Prada's website just now, I realised the interior of the wallet is so simple, yet i have to pay more then half a thousand to get it. The exterior is simple too, but that is what i like.

It's not that i cant afford, but i think it is too reckless and not worth the money.

See, you cannot gimme time to consider whether if i should buy something expensive or not. It has to be on. the. spot.

And then once again, the money i have now is mine.
I dont have to give my parents allowance, dont have to give rental or pay for my car loans etc. No children's tuition to care about.

When i grow up, I have more money, but also more expenditure. No $500 share to buy a useless prada wallet.

I dont really like brands like coach, kate spade, brands in the mid range, because if you are getting something branded, you can pay $100 plus more $200 and get something in the higher range.

I bought the coach because it was on offer heheheh and it was impluse.

Maybe i should just get a Guess wallet. Or just a wallet that looks nice will do!

Oh hai people.

I just realised something scary.

For this week, monday until today.

Because my hair has become irritatingly long (i think i'm gonna cut tmr, or maybe just with the fabric scissors), i tie them up every morning i wake up, if not water + toothpaste will get onto my hair, AND IT REALLY IRRITATES ME.

And then, i somehow feel that i dont look bad with that hair, and then i wear it out. TO THE OFFICE.

Wonder why nobody said anything.

Just browsed Sallie's blog and i saw her shopping list, one item fulfilled.

Well she's so systematic she actually follows her shopping list.

Whereas for me, when i make a shopping list, it's usually things that are unattainable for me because they are too expensive.

They are too expensive because i am still a student. I dont crave for things like that sliver prada pouch or that louis vuitton monogram wallet.

Actually, i think louis vuitton, gucci are very ah lian because all those ah lian looking (note: i say ah lian looking, not real ah lian) event girls they all earn so much and buy so much MONOGRAM stuff.

I'm alright with the normal designs, but not monogram stuff.

Anyway, back to shopping list. Last month i earned some money, so actually i have the money to fulfil my shopping list. I wanted a DM boots. But so many questions came again, is it worth it, how many days you have to work to earn this amount. And same for my polaroid. So i didnt get it.

So if i had a shopping list, it probably wont be useful, because i dont really plan to utilize it.

This is bad.

I tried to change my blogskin BY MYSELF but i failed. I do not comprehend how to use blogskin.com.

As you can already tell, since i am free to blog and change my skin, i am done with this block's modules and this coming monday would be my SIP/attachment. Kind of excited but also dreading it. Boss seems nice though.

I always complain about not having enough time to do miscellaneous things like, pack table, watch dramas, read books etc. But now i have time, i cannot recall what i wanted to do. All i do now is stupid stuff like trying to change my blogskin, watch tv.

OH I NEED TO RENEW MY PASSPORT EXPIRE DATE!

I am going to china guang zhou! For my final year project's fabric buying trip. Honestly, i dont think there is a need to get fabric from overseas. I mean, singapore have fabrics, the nicer ones at a more expensive prince.

The trip will cost around $700 excluding food and buying things. If the $700 is spent on all fabrics in sg, i bet i would have leftovers.

They say the fabric there confirm got more variety. I mean, so many variety for what?

You know, i really like things like this.

I really adore simple stuff. If i were to open a fashion label, i will confirm have very simple designs, and then focus more on minute details.

Not for school, because they are superficial.

I was in the toliet just now and i saw 5 packs of toliet paper stacked up. My family is a bunch of shitty people.

My iphone is entirely naked. Did i mention that? The cover is causing some scratches because it is trapping dust and some things sharper then dust, small particles (small particles can actually scratch wow) and so i've taken it out.

And because of my bad protective sticking skills, there is a air bubble at the top left hand corner, and dust keeps going in, making the bubble bigger, and when i press down the bubble, the dust goes even deeper. You dont really get what i mean right. Nevermind. Anyway, when i put my phone inside my pocket, the sticker slipped out the phone. And yeah. My phone is naked and i'm liking it this way ~.~ so thin and sleek. But i know i have to get a cover but until i make up my mind or see any super nice ones, it has to be naked.

Talking about protectors. My first one was from marc, and then sallie's sister gave me another one because she is using BB now. What good luck. Sallie's sister one is still in some book as a bookmark i was reading that time. Must remember to dig it out.

Have decided to cut my own hair. Not like there will be any drastic change.

I want to shop so badly. Allowance and pay is in. I AM RICH. Tweeted that haha

I am getting a polaroid. But one thing that is going to irk me is about the film.

Okay look, if my friend has the polaroid, and we take a photo together, i will take it for granted that i am SUPPOSED and ALLOWED to keep the film, not knowing that one pack of 10 actually cost $12.90.

And then after i have a polaroid, people will be like me and I cannot say anything because I WAS TOO, ONCE IGNORANT.

Not like i can charge them $1.29.

And then subsequently i will have to buy film again, and when time passes, i will have that in my mind and not bring my polaroid out, WHICH DEFEATS THE PURPOSE.

Has been a dilemma for quite a while now, to buy or not to buy.

But since i got the money now i should just splurge right???

I mean, i never gotten myself anything over $50, i think. Yes i'm serious. Or at least not any item i can think of right now.

I should just spoil myself for once!!

Life has been slackish for me this week. School restarted btw. But dont tell my parents because they dont even know i was having hols.

Monday. No morning class. Afternoon class was SUPER SLACK.

Wed. Went to BOTH CLASSES. It was a proud acheivement.

Thurs - Missed school due to iphone's bad alarm system. I off-ed it unknowingly. But i took MC.

Friday, which is also today, No school. Work at night.

SLACK RIGHT. Feeling guilty though.

Been finding girls for agent for beer roving recently. I dont know why but i just feel a sense of guilt when agent ask me to work and i cant. =(

But all the girls i found most of them are irresponsible (dont reply msgs etc. I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE DONT REPLY) And some just work for a day or two and refuse to work anymore.

And it's not like the pay is low.

And I wanna work other event. But because of sch's timing and SIP coming soon, I cannot schedule myself for any future jobs. =(

But when you finally graduate, you realised you need to find a job, and then you cant find one you like, you'll be jobless. Or forced to work something you dont really like.

If your parents are willing to give allowance until you get a job, you're lucky.

If they do not, you have to work part time while you hunt for something.

This is when you want to go back to school.

But. I seem to have come too early. I'm done with all my work except button holes, which is to be done by someone else. Ah well. Had a hard time waking up somemore.

I realised that, whenever i'm mad about some stuff, i vow to make a complain or bitch and rant it on my blog. BUT. End up i dont. Because i dont have time and energy (because free time are used for resting) to make that complain or that blog post.

2 examples.

Bus driver. I'm not sure if i mentioned that here already or not.

I was at the bus stop, waiting for 147. Iris (that sms thing that tells you when is your bus gonna arrive) told me that it's 4 mins and 26 mins (or something ridiculous like that) so i rushed down to the bus stop. Sent iris again. It says arriving. So i waited at THE FRONT OF THE BUS STOP.

100 came, then 147 was behind.

BUSES ARE SUPPOSED TO FETCH PASSENGERS AT THE FRONT OF THE BUS STOP, RIGHT???

Okay, so i waited at the front. While other aunties kaisu-ly walked to the butt of 100, and boarded 147.

After 100 left, 147 started to move forward, i waved my hand out.

Bus driver looks at me, and drives on, with no intention to stop. I guessed i started looking pissed, because the driver looked away. And then i pointed my finger, and then he stopped.

Seriously. I'm not going to rush down to the bus stop and then wait for 23 mins. I sat at the seat behind the driver and called at least 2 of my friends to bitch about him. LOUDLY. He would have heard it if he wasnt deaf. Or blind, for this matter. And in the conversation i swore to complain to LTA and SBS.

But did i? NO.

I wanted to complain right when i got home (which was 11 plus) but i was so dead beat, so i told myself, nehmind la, tmr also can.

Did i lodge it 'tmr'? No...

Then the next few days i forgot about it.

When i finally rememebered, a good week passed. But i still had no time (thanks, school) Then i thought to myself. Would those LTA people accept the complain and take it seriously if so many days passed. No!

So i didnt. GUAGUAGUA.

Kyung mi. Korean bitch lecturer. The pass block i took a module taught by her. AND SHE ABSOLUTELY CANNOT TEACH.

Has a very very bad accent that makes things hard to understand and absorb.

I'm sorry that we're bad at drafting and sewing, but it's because our lecturers during year 1 and 2 really teach nothing, okay? This batch of year 2 knows much more then us, because since year 1 they have been taught by kyung mi and Jay (another former RDI lecturer) and they know how to draft it the right way.

Skipped school today due to some reasons. There was no afternoon class so technically i only skipped 1 lesson. Which was btw crap, because i heard kyung mi taught nothing.

Saying that those relative brought me up when my parents had to work, and we havent seen them in 2 years so i MUST go.

Someone said i should keep blogging to improve my written english. Recently a few friends were talking about future. 18 years old seem like such a caught in the middle age.

You are a teenager, by right, you should be relaxing and being a little rebellious (unless you're in a design school of course), but on the other hand, it's seriously time to think about your future.

When i was in secondary school, my attitude towards life was, live it as simple as you can. No school activity, CCA was due to having no choice. No fights with girls, no drama. Or at least, as little as possible. I'm such a neutral person. A yes man. Whatever people say, i go 'yeah alright' even if i dont want it.

I dress in a way that will not cause controversies, because i am scared of how people would think of me, if i wore a shorter skirt, if i wore a coloured bra. Black bras were a big no no to me that time. But i wear them everyday now. haha

Anyway, back to the topic. Time to think about your future. So i started thinking about jobs that i could see myself working in.

Another friend said, having a job is like being married to it. You are stuck with it 5 days a week, from morning to evening. At night, you'll most likely be troubling over it. Weekends, if you're lucky, you get 2 days off, if you're not lucky, you end up entertaining clients.

So i started thinking about jobs that i would lurveezxzsxsss.

I am really bored.

Typed bored inside google and bored.com came up. It was a website for games. Very bored looking games.

Closed it.

Recently i came to like nude polishes. But, they are SO hard to paint on because the colour is so faint. I have to paint 5 layers to NOT see the white part of my nail. And usually after that, it takes so long to dry then it usually get destroyed in the process.

So i painted 4 layers for this time. The white part is still obvious, but it is not destroyed. Give and take. This, you must learn.

Going to eat yummy food court korean food later. EXCITINGZZZ.

It was a last min thing that we follow lenne to her shoot, and i took a pair of uniqlo socks from lenne! She's inside some compeition that gives her $500 vouchers(for tampiness 1 mall only) a month (for 3 mths) to style herself up.

AND SHE GETS TO KEEP EVERYTHINGGGGGGGG. LUCKY BITCH.

Sigh. And so she needed socks and it was $10 for 4, and she gave me one. Yay.

Okay what else. My feet hurts. Shoes were too tight. I wore fake eyelashes today. Sudden enthusiam.

Oh. Finally decided to work part time somewhere, but when i gathered up courage to decide to work, the job wasnt 'available' anymore.

WHY OH WHY. And i'm not too spoilt for a job okay (maybe a little, but let's not go there) it's just that the previous part time i had was so fucking horrible, it scarred me.

Waitressing, made me never wanna work F&B ever ever again. Boss was so terrifying!!! And the other waitresses there WERE NOT FRIENDLY. There is like, a hierachy and they think because they worked longer they can start lecturing me things, instead of teaching.

Long time ago, but it is still scary.

Event jobs were also scary. Pay delayed badly, bitchiness amongst agent and sub agents, about money again. Which makes me want to settle for a normal part time job.

SIGH. Now i found one perfect one, then come and like that. BLAH.

Now thinking of working for FHA. Low pay, but still money.

Dad bought Haggen Daz for me! (or the family even though i hid in somewhere in the fridge so no one can find it)

Well technically i bought it and he paid for it (after i cleared his cup and bowl and wiped the table and passed him a toothpick) but nevermind.

I am absolutely bored.

Slept without removing make up, brushing teeth, bathing, changing last night.

And due to habit, woke up at 7.12 and was happy i woke up earlier then usual, UNTIL I REALISED THERE'S NO MORNING CLASS.

So there am i. Bored, lazy to go school so early, and slacking.

The most surprising thing in school happened.

This block is so not stressful. I have 2 modules in one month, and this has never happened. Well yea there's still an amount of work to do, but since that horrible maddie taught us basic skills of drafting and sewing, this block is quite simple.

Ha i realised i have a very very similar shirt like the one above but i got it at HK for $6 plus SGD.

HAPPY. Also, because the deal at HK was 3 for $19, I also bought another vest which i later found in singapore, for $32. HAHAHAH!!!

Proud of myself for managing to find goodies in garbage. The other one was a tie dye hot pink cardigan with studs. I quite like it, but so far Yuki is the one that told me it's nice. Others say i look cui.

I had fries and barley for breakfast. At about 9.30 in the morning.

Then i felt full till 12, class starts at 12.

At about 12.30, i started to feel hungry. Couldnt leave class for food, nobody wanna accompany me too.

Left school at 3.30 feeling VERY hungry, gas starts to form in my empty tummy.

Finally ate at around 4.15.

Feeling full now, but having a stomach full of gas waiting to be passed out.

To eat or not to eat? That's the frigging question.

I realised i've been 'compensating' myself by eating because during ADP, i havent been eating enough because there is hardly any time to eat, and so, when we have a bit of time, we eat, knowing that if we dont stuff ourselves now, we'll go hungry later.

So now, judging from the times i blogged, i am pretty free. Not that i'm not happy, it's just that I KEEP FRIGGING HELL EATING.

SIGH.

Currently abit hungry. Luckily my peanut butter toast takeaway is coming soon. I'm at home yea.

New year was different. Grandma (dowager) not in sg, so the ritual of going to her house on first day of CNY was cancelled, and we usually meet all the relatives there.

So that means, no relatives, = no ang bao. BAD.

But i got to meet some at some other auntie's house, but not all yet.

Still doing the frigging corset and it's completing soon (i really hope nothing hard to sew comes up mannnnsszzxzx)

Went shopping at Takashimaya today for new year clothes because jia had vouchers, and we thought we can splurge.

But those labels DONT KNOW SINGAPORE GOT CHINESE NEW YEAR so i didnt get any pink or red clothes. And it's either too expensive or too ugly.
